Responsibilities:
· Procurement of the materials required for our customer’s business operations and arrange shipping.
· Raise purchase orders for materials.
· Manage and control orders.
· Liaise with engineers once the parts needed for the projects are agreed, procure the parts and ensure all engineers assigned to the project are copied on all correspondence.
· Collaborate with all stakeholders regarding part updates, e.g. customers, suppliers, management and engineering team.
· Manage parts lead times and ensure customer deadlines are met.
· Liaising with shippers and freight forwarders.
· Review all incoming invoices against purchase orders and report to senior management.
· Review and evolve processes to streamline parts ordering.
· Work alongside our accounting department to ensure all payments are accurate.
· Handling essential office duties, such as answering and routing calls, responding to enquiry emails, data entry, and reporting.
· Manage and monitor office inventories and ordering of office supplies.
· Manage travel arrangements for staff and management.
Education / Qualifications:
Grado superior en administración y gestión de empresas (or equivalent in other EU countries).
Engineering or Business Administration and Management university degree is preferred.
Requirements/ Skills:
· Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Competent in Microsoft Excel and Word.
· Highly organised with strong planning, multitasking, and workload prioritisation abilities.
· Previous experience in procurement or purchasing roles is preferred.
· Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement, including identifying issues, proposing solutions, and implementing them.
· Analytical and process-oriented thinker with strong numerical skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams is preferred.
· Commercial awareness and the ability to make informed decisions to benefit the business.
· Demonstrated willingness to learn and excel in the role (in-house training provided).
· ability to build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
· Engineering background is desirable.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent.
Experience:
Materials and procurement background: 1-2 years.
Preferrable in the aerospace sector.
Language:
English C1 (C2 preferable).
Other languages are good to have.
Work Location:
Avenida Juan Lopez de Peñalver, 21, Málaga.
On-site with the flexibility of working remotely.
Other working locations: UK office headquarters in Braintree, Essex, for training and team-building purposes.
