Aerospace Engineering Solutions (AES) will be showcasing its Part 21J design and certification expertise at MRO Latin America 2026 in Santiago, Chile, on 14–15 January.
Attending MRO Latin America 2026
MRO Latin America is a key meeting point for airlines, lessors, MROs, OEMs, and solution providers focused on maintenance, repair, and overhaul across Latin America and the Caribbean.
The event provides AES with an opportunity to engage directly with regional operators and partners on future fleet, retrofit, and modification needs.
Part 21J design capability
As an approved Part 21J design organisation, the company delivers certified design changes and repairs in accordance with EASA requirements. This capability covers the full design lifecycle, from initial concept and analysis through to compliance demonstration, approved data, and continued airworthiness support.
Within this framework, AES delivers cabin and interior modifications and repairs, upgrades avionics and systems, implements structural changes, and creates bespoke special‑mission solutions tailored to customer needs. Every solution is engineered to reduce downtime, optimise aircraft utilisation, and enhance the passenger experience while maintaining the highest safety and compliance standards.
Supporting Latin American operators
Designs produced under Part 21J meet European airworthiness standards and serve as a foundation for validation by Latin American civil aviation authorities. Growing cooperation between European and regional regulators is streamlining the acceptance of European-standard design data for locally registered fleets, helping operators accelerate implementation and reduce complexity.
Meeting customers at the event
Deputy Head of Airworthiness for AES, Lola Lahoz, will be on-site to discuss collaboration opportunities and upcoming projects with airlines, MROs, and lessors.
